Eve believes that women can make their own decisions about their healthcare and reproductive decisions. Recent bills proposed in our South Carolina State Legislature are way too restrictive on women's rights and are hurtful control over women. In addition, our state needs to have medicaid expanded to enable more healthcare especially for women and children.

How Eve will take action as a legislator:

• Eve will propose a bill that will be a much more relaxed timeframe in which women can legally get an abortion in South Carolina. Our current six-week abortion ban is WAY too restrictive and not what most people want in South Carolina.
